Don’t you just love it when a basic like a camisole top becomes a ‘repeater’ time and time again. It is an affordable item that can be styled for any occasion, dressy or casual, and is available in many colors.
I know when you think of ‘camisole’ your mind could easily wander to the simple white or black under layer that you wear beneath sweaters or blouses where the fabric is slightly more transparent than you are comfortable with. I am happy to share that camisoles have come a very long way! They are available in new designs and details like the sheer panel one that I am wearing here.
I adore this beautiful pink camisole that I snagged at the outlets. (with even better pricing!) The pale pink color is just the right shade and the design makes it uber chic! I styled it a few ways below to show how versatile a shirt like this could be and also found a few others that would be great adds to your closet for the season.

Outfit 1 // Out to Brunch
Whether you are heading to brunch with friends for the first time in a year or heading to a baby shower this season – this is a great look to pull together. The pink camisole would work well with a floral skirt of any kind like the pleated one here (similar skirt) or something will a more defined shape. If you follow the TBLA (top bottom layer accessory) rule – an open sleeve cardigan really pulls the look together. It adds a layer of balance and helps to break up the color palette too. Throw on some of my favorite lipstick and a great pair of comfy heels – and off you go!

Outfit 2 // Strictly Business
A work-friendly look that uses color and texture to make a statement. Remember that power suit that I got around Easter? (post here) I restyled the pants here! The pink cami top in this look is used as a texture layer underneath a light wrap sweater. Since the sweater has a v-neck shawl, the little peek-a-boo effect works well. Tuck the sweater into the pants to pull out the high waist and elevate the look. This could be great for meeting days or more formal events that you may have for work.

Outfit 3 // Weekend Fun
Even though the cami top has a more dressed up feel to it with the sheer panel detail, I wanted to show you that you can also dress it down too! If you pair it with a long boyfriend style cardigan or a bold animal print cardigan, it can bring a more casual look for weekends or downtime. Instead of slacks or pants, throw on a great pair of skinny jeans and animal print mules to spice it up. A great look for weekend errands or sitting outside on a patio with friends and cocktails!

Outfit 4 // Office Ready
Bringing you another duster cardigan look, but this one could work for the office. Pair the pink cami top with a black cardigan where the length goes longer than your knees. I love the way this proportion works with a pencil skirt. I love the button detail on this one but any one that you will have will be just as beautiful. A pair of comfy heels for running from conference room to conference room and you are going to rock the day. Go get ’em girl!

Outfit 5 // Business Casual
Last look and it’s a great option for a business casual look that can go from the office to happy hour. It leans on the more traditional workwear look since the pink cami top is under a structured white blazer but its still light and cheery. Instead of going with a skinny jean, I opted for a boyfriend jean that was less body hugging and a darker wash. Again with a comfy pair of heels because I am all about comfort or throw on a pair of flats – whatever makes you happiest.
Of course there are so many other ways that you can style a basic camisole top – how would you style it?
