“I did a thing,” is exactly what I texted my sister recently. It was time for a change. I changed my hairstyle and chopped it all off! It has been quite some time since my hair has been this short, but it’s fun to change up the look. I noticed that I started wearing my hair in a bun more often during the week and wasn’t spending any time on that part of self-care. So when I feel like that, I shake it up, and a fresh do will do.
Finding new ways for self- care is so important. Get out of bed and don’t just show up. Do your hair, put your makeup on, wear your favorite things and feel amazing AF!
For instance – I recently found one of my favorite cross body bags in the closet from Pixie Mood. Not only is it super soft, it is vegan leather and the brand is all about making cruelty-free products. The clear panel is super fun and unique and the powder blue color is neutral enough that I can pair with almost anything. I might not be commuting or going out as much but I am going to find ways to style it into my wardrobe more because it makes me happy. 🙂
