My First Everlane Purchase

Retail Therapy during quarantine is a real thing – anyone else doing some online shopping as well? We now have all this time to explore new sites and shop new brands, and I am finally entering the world of Everlane.

I always hear great things about the brand from friends but never really took the time to get to know their products and mission. I was in the market to get some basics and started to browse the Everlane website. It just so happened to be a sale so I figured why not? A cotton tee shirt and corduroy skirt later, I finally understand what my friends were all raving about.

The white cotton crew tee shirt is one of the softest I’ve ever had. It is a bit see through, but I guess that is expected when you order white. I immediately wanted to live in the shirt all day long and am considering going back to get the same shirt in other colors for the summer weather. The heather gray and the navy may be the next colors I choose. I love it when a basic is comfortable and is great quality.

My other purchase was this beautiful acorn corduroy skirt. The button-front detail is stunning all the way down and the corduroy fabric is not stiff at all. I recall corduroy from back in the day and how uncomfortable it was, but I love the way this skirt hugs me and the color is so fun! NOW, if we ever get to go back to the office, I could wear it more often.

Overall, my items were exactly what I wanted and shopping the Everlane site was a major success. The order came in recyclable packaging, just a small receipt inside, and all the tags were adhered to the garment – so no waste!!! I’m officially a fan. ❤
