The Best Work Bags for Every Budget

There is nothing more important to a working girl than having a beautiful yet functional work bag. Whether you need it for your commute to carry all your essentials, for only carrying a laptop, or plan to pack your post-work workout clothes in there – it is vital to your day-to-day.

If you have been following along for a bit, you know that I am beyond obsessed with my Lo & Son’s Rowledge backpack. It is perfect for meetings, travel, and have ample storage for any additional items throughout out the day. You can read my review about it here. Now, if I was to get another bag that is more of a classic shape and form of a work bag, I am eyeing the Lo & Son’s O.G. bag. Talk about versatility on-the-go. Do not be fooled by the simple outer shell design of this tote style bag, it is the interior that is surprising. Not only does it fit your laptop, wallet, and more – there is a hidden shoe compartment too! I would love to have that for the days that I want to switch between heels and flats. To be able to have that within reach is clutch!

Plus – It fits up to 13″ laptops, has an inside pocket for files and tablets (like the backpack), and even a long key fob leash for those keys so you don’t have to rifle through the bag for them. I always seem to be digging when I got off the train for my car keys! The Black Exterior with lavender interior would be my choice – what about you? Time for me to start saving.

Ok – talk about a great choice UNDER $50! This simple everyday tote is made of a soft faux leather and comes with a matching wristlet. It’s a very similar idea to the Pixie Mood Alicia Tote that I own which also came with an extra bag. I use the included crossbody every single day so it comes in handy. What I love about this bag is how many ways you can wear this bag. Drop your laptop in there, take it for a weekend away, or wrap a scarf around the handle for a girls night out. Yaaassss to the crocodile detail on this Reiss bag! I love it when a texture can add so much depth to an item without screaming ‘Look at Me!’ It is an elegant structured piece that will always be on trend and perfect for those high power moments. If you are looking for a darling work bag that has some personality – here she is! Well under $100 – this smaller option is great for your day-to-day if you don’t need to commute with your laptop. Pack your tablet, cell phone, and any other essentials you may need. It comes in light green (like here), a light baby pink, and of course – black.

Fit For a Fashionista //

Calling all the fashionistas out there looking for a trendy work bag! This is a bag for those that want to wear their brands loud & proud and are always up to date on the latest runway inspired designs. This small travelers tote is made of canvas with a built-in adjustable strap. My one concern was that this bag would be WIDE open with all my stuff in it, but it has a top zipper closure. A great option for a working girl on the go. Fold it up, throw it in your suitcase and take it on the road with you for the ability to change out your work bag between meetings!

Nothing has been more versatile in my closet than the few Kate Spade bags I own that have lasted for years. I love my black/white tote from here, but what I appreciate about the brand is not only the quality and design, but how accessible it is. The price point of a Kate Spade bag can range based on what you prefer for a bag, but it’s not outside the realm of possibility like some of the more luxe branded bags. Such as this chic taupe bag with the contrast strap. It’s the perfect neutral accessory that can can be worn and styled for years to come.
