7 Boyfriend Cardigans That are Perfect for Fall Outfits

Feel that chill in the air? Who’s ready to wrap themselves up in cozy cardigans, go apple picking (eat apple cider doughnuts) and sip on lattes?! Hope I wasn’t the only one to raise my hand.

Nothing screams fall to me like a great cardigan to throw on over your top when you aren’t quite ready to pull the coats out yet. I am a fan of the boyfriend cardigan because of the long duster style length. It feels so elegant when worn with a top or with a belt wrapped around the waist. It gets a versatility check in my book!

The boyfriend cardigan is my closet go-to for any occasion. If I am meeting up with friends, going on a day trip, or just getting ready to hop on a zoom call – I never think twice about it. Like this green cardigan look, layering it over a camisole top that I have worn all summer is an easy option to transition into the next season of styles. Without having to overhaul my closet as the weather changes, it allows me to have multiple options that look great no matter what. Change out summer sandals to a studded snake skin mule and a distressed denim jean – and out the door you go!

I’ve done some shopping around and pulled together seven affordable styles and colors that would be great for any closet this season (all under $70) listed below.
