Doesn’t the fall just bring back all the feels of pumpkin spice lattes (chai for me please!), apple picking, beautiful foliage, and pumpkin patches?
When I was in Seattle, I took a few moments to check off a bucket list item. I’ve always wanted to visit the Public Market at Pike Place but realized very quickly that it was swamped during the afternoon hours as flocks of tourists stormed the streets. Luckily for me, I was running on EST (3 hour difference) and was able to get up really early to wander while the merchants started to open up shop. Such a treat!
The vibes of the fall season always resonate in the quintessential plaid, checkers, and herringbone patterns. Styling options for those patterns are great for whether you want to wear it as a stand-alone garment or mix and match as you see fit. It’s a great pattern palate for everything with the fall feels that many people already have in their closet.
I paired my sleeveless windowpane print top with an emerald green crop pant that I purchased during my travels in Italy. (…which reminds me that I need to round up those looks for you!) Topped the look off with a trench coat for the cooler morning and a gray suede pump to pull it all together. Amazingly, I had most of these pieces already, but putting a new spin on them for my meetings was refreshing.
You can do the same! Go grab those pieces that you already own, mix ’em up and pair it with something in your closet you would’t normally gravitate to. I love getting a new look without breaking the bank.
Happy styling!
