Crop Top Confidence.

I do…. my….. hairrr toss, check my nails, baby how you feelin’ – Feelin’ GOOD as HellllLLLL. (please tell me you just sang that!)

When it comes to dressing less girl boss and more casually – my first instinct is to grab a sweatshirt, pair of jeans, and a pair of sneakers. Comfy is typically my go-to, but sometimes you just need to channel that inner diva and put your chin up.

I am riding the Lizzo vibes with everyone else while channeling all that exuberance and confidence that she projects on the daily. Never in a million years did I think that I would wear a crop top of any sort, post college years. (and look at me now!)

What drew me to this crop top specifically was the dramatic balloon sleeve with the raised square texture to it. How different is that, right?! The high neck combined with the thick sweater material was just the right amount of balance that puts it right in my alley. This sweater crop top felt like a more sophisticated option for rocking the trend than just another straight cut.

The moto style leggings paired well due to the high waist cut — it closes the gap between the crop top and where the pants would normally hit on my waist. Still cute without the belly button exposed!

This outfit allowed me to style something in a way that I would be comfortable wearing it. That’s what its all about right?! What would you intro song be if you had one? ❤

  1. Lalalal lalalal Elmo’s world… lalalala ELMO’S WORLD!! That is my theme song.. literally playing in my house and in my head all day. Maybe you can help dress me in a full Elmo suit for a work casual vibe?
