How can you NOT smile when you are wearing something so fun and full of color?!
I was hosting my Fall LOFT event and came across this sweater tucked in the back towards the Lou & Grey area of the store. I took a chance, grabbed an XS, and didn’t even try it on since the store was closing soon. Crazy right?! The sweater came all the way home with me and lived in the cute shopping bag for a few days with several of the other items that I picked up for 40% off that night. Since trying it on, I have been obsessed! You can legit ask anyone at the office, this sweater has been on repeat. (don’t judge! lol) It’s colorful, bubbly, fun, comfortable and completely office appropriate. I have received a ton of compliments when I wear it, so I wanted to share the link below in the case anyone wants one for themselves!!! (plus its on sale… why resist?)
I had so much fun with this look since color is not my strongest point in wardrobe styling. I can get worked up fretting over how to coordinate a color into my outfit, but one of the things I do is I get inspired by @colormecourtney. The queen of color’s instagram feed is full blown eye candy for the rainbow sprinkled soul. #imafan When I’m frustrated with my closet, her bright feed puts the fun back into getting dressed. I interpret her energy into my own and see where that leads me.
The other thing I do is turn on music. Music is such a big part of my everyday so I started to bring a Bluetooth speaker along on my blog shoots. Let me tell you… it completely changes my mood and I immediately start smiling. I bounce around like I normally would (in the office AND at home) and my friends always capture me, just being me. Fun is what this is all about and I am so thankful to be surrounded by friends that support my fun moments along with my boss moments and help me to share it with you all.
