I am not sure what to wear with the weather changing constantly, so I am glad that I haven’t made the full switch to spring and summer attire.
Between the frigid cold and snow days to the temperature reaching upwards of 80 degrees, you kind of just have to get dressed in the early morning and take your chances. I might come home a sweat box but at least I was warm!
I picked up this extremely soft, Halogen studded sweater at Nordstrom Rack a few weeks ago. I have this amazing talent of going to return something to a store (in this case I was making a Hautelook return), and then coming home with a replacement/exchange or more than what I left the house with. (Oy vey!) Any one else have this same “skill?!” I was drawn to the studs running vertically down each side and the cable knit pattern that framed these embellishments. I’ve never really seen anything like it before and had to have it. I am wearing a size S and it does run true to size. If you like your sweaters a bit more form fitting – I would recommend sizing down one step since the studs do add a slight touch of weight. (It’s currently an extra 25% off the rack price!! – so get yourself one and save it for next winter)
The sage colored Rag and Bone jeans are one of my prized pair of pants! I have a really difficult time finding jeans that fit me well and the R&B brand have fit perfectly. My first pair was red (worn here) and then I found this pair shortly after (worn here). The fabric, the fit, and the style options are completely worth every single penny, and I am hoping to add one more pair to my collection this year.
Lastly – slip on sneakers!!! I don’t know where this new fondness of slip on sneakers came from, but boy, have I been on the hunt for all the slip-ons this past winter! I love the ease and convenience of just sliding my feet into them and heading out the door. Not to mention they are still on trend, especially for the days when you are feeling sporty in the office. These grey Michael Kors sneakers have a vented style from the holes in the suede fabric and the neutral color can be paired with just about anything. It is going to be perfect for the summer months! I may or may not be keeping an eye on this tweed pair and this cute denim pair for future purchases.
Happy Casual Friday and stay comfy. Shop the outfit links below for building your own version of this look! As always, thanks a bunch for reading.
