Summer is calling and I am answering back with a fabulous shirtdress friends!
When I was a teenager, I went through a tom-boy phase where I wasn’t into skirts, dresses or anything that made me feel ‘girly’. Mind you, I grew up with boys in the household so that may have contributed to that mentality. 😂 It wasn’t until my Junior Ring Dance in high school when I had to buy a dress to wear to the event when I started to come back around on it.
Fast forward and here we are, loving dresses and anything that makes me feel more feminine! 😂 Let’s talk about this geometric print dress. I adore the maxi length of the dress, the flattering placement of the tie at the waistline and the collarless cut around the neckline. The black and white geometric diamond print makes the dress feel really high-end without the price tag and feels like a small tribute to art deco.
For accessories, these twist hoop earrings are super chic! It reminds me of a beautiful piece from the croissant style jewelry from Mejuri. The texture from the hoops and the touch of gold goes well with this look along with my most-worn pair of sunnies! I don’t trust myself with expensive sunglasses because I am bound to lose them or sit on them….so these are perfect. This is the perfect dress working all summer long that would be great for events like bridal showers, baby showers, or even brunch! Especially, for the nights where the temperature could drop – you are covered.
If you watched my video on Instagram – these are the three other awesome spring/summer arrivals that I tried on in store. Can you guess which other dress I purchased?
Green Brushstroke Dress // Leopard Print Midi Dress // Chambray Tiered Dress
