All dressed up with nowhere to go – well isn’t that just the story of the times. With high hopes for the coming season, I am getting dressed up anyways!
For this outfit, I was inspired by the primary color wheel that I used to use back in my elementary school art class. Did you all have that poster too? It was a wheel that showed when you mixed primary colors, you get another beautiful shade. This combo of blue and yellow would ultimately give you green – but in these scenario – it just gives us a really bold and bright outfit!
I love this yellow sweater that I have had for a few years. The color has remained as bright as the day I purchased it and pairing it with this bold blue pleated midi skirt was so fun! To pull the two together, I wanted to accent with a black belt at the waistline (which also covers up the elastic band from the skirt), a black leather cuff with matching gold details, and black strappy sandals too!
Business wear doesn’t have to always be so serious. After a year of being indoors, I am ready to bring all this newfound confidence and color outdoors! What’s a new color combo that you have tried recently?
Wishing you a great rest of the week ahead!
