Nothing screams autumn more than the onset of sweater season. A soft and cozy sweater is a closet staple that you may already own in various colors and fabrics. It’s probably the one thing you reach for the most when it starts to get chilly outside.
As we welcome the weather and the fall foliage, I wanted to share this this amazingly chic sweater I snagged from a local boutique. It’s the perfect color to wear to a pumpkin patch for those family photos or wear to an outdoor gathering with friends around the fire as we hold onto the last few weeks of being outdoors together. Though the sweater is available in another color (rum raisin), I love this mushroom one that screams neutral and classic. I was a bit nervous because sometimes clothing in neutral colors can wash me out due to being the same undertone as my skin, but this one strikes the perfect balance.
Well, what good is a sweater like this if we can’t style it multiple ways? To show you just how versatile this can be, I pulled together three looks that could range from casual style to work style or even to date night out with a pop of color. Let me which one speaks to you more below in the comments — style 1, 2 or 3?
1 // WORK STYLE – For all those zoom meetings that I have been sitting on, this sweater is great for a day spent in front of the screen. To tie this look together, I added a pair of black jeans and a black pump to make it office appropriate. If you’re like me and super self conscious about keeping those eyes locked on a monitor all day, I also wear a pair of blue light glasses throughout the day too. The ones I’m currently wearing are the tortoise style, but I own both color options (the other is the fade style).

2 // A NIGHT OUT – Whether you have been going out with friends (safely) or keeping date night in at home, this is a look that I pulled together for such an occasion. I am in love with this beautiful, bright floral pleated skirt from French Connection. The chic print is the perfect compliment to the mushroom sweater. I wanted to add another texture and color to the mix to balance it out, so adding a blush mid-heel and earrings to make some of the flowers on the skirt stand out really brought it all together.

3 // CASUAL STYLE – Are you more of a denim and sneakers gal? No sweat, me too! Isn’t is amazing how simple it is to add a pair of skinny jeans (skyfall wash) and a slip-on sneaker, and boom – instant outfit?! Since it has been a little breezy these days, I always pack my blanket scarf in the event I get a bit chilly. This tartan one is crazy affordable and I have had it for years!! It is worth every single penny.

The business style one has to be my favorite, I love those black jeans.
