You have to see these.
A New England winter is as beautiful as it is cold. We are so lucky to get all four seasons but that also means that your wardrobe needs to adjust as well. I have been trying to change up my outerwear game little by little through adding different cuts and colors beyond my ‘black on black on black.‘ Outerwear can be difficult because you want them to last and they tend to be larger financial investments, but sometimes it is worth the spend.
My interests were affirmed when I read an article by Who What Wear about items that you should part with this year. One suggestion was to give up “plain black outerwear.” It was like they were talking directly to me! I love my black outwear so I don’t know if I’ll give it up….but I am happy to expand upon it. A girl can never have too many coats.
So I rounded up some new outwear options in the case you were all interested too!
Belted Trench Coat – J.Crew ($398)
Comes in multiple colors and my favorite
has to the be the Heather Thistle.
(pictured here)
Faux Fur Collar Coat – Banana Republic ($279)
Removable Fur Collar in a beautiful
Pine green color with black accents.
Houndstooth Funnel Neck Coat – Topshop ($79)
Get in my closet right now!!
Daylina Coat – Club Monaco ($459)
I have been dreaming of this Camel coat…
one day, she will be mine!
Leather Frock Coat – Zara ($89)
You all know how much I love a
peplum, so yes please!
Funnel Neck Wool Coat – Lauren Ralph Lauren ($249)
I prefer the grey with the buckle
closures, what do you think?
As you can see, I lean towards clean lines and simple details that will last year after year, but always pick something that YOU will love. I hope that you find some fun outerwear to cuddle into this winter or at lease some inspiration from the ones I found.
Thank you so much for stopping by and reading!
