So… for the new year, I wanted to add some color as well as some texture to my current wardrobe. Well here we are – two firsts!
With this outfit – I wanted to play with some new textures that I wouldn’t have tried previously. I am loving the pop of green from this zig zag textured blouse (especially in the winter weather), and it’s a fun color to rock in the office. So vibrant!
I paired it with a cream colored pencil skirt that had a lace overlay and added a layer with a long duster cardigan. The length and cut was a great alternative to a traditional cardigan or blazer. It adds a bit of softness to the structure of the shirt while giving the outfit some movement. The best part – it had the warmth factor for this New England winter weather.
Overall, I am happy with it and am excited to figure out how to restyle these pieces.
Thank you so much for stopping by and reading!
