As the weather gets a bit chillier outside in New England, the opportunities to walk around without a large jacket grows slimmer day by day. We will begin to add more layers and the colors aren’t as vibrant as in the summertime.

It was a beautiful Sunday and I asked my “blogtographer” (aka the mister) to go for a walk. During these moments together- I really get some time to think and bounce ideas and thoughts off of him.

When you first decide to start a blog it can be very intimidating, overwhelming, chaotic yet very exciting at the same time. You look at other blogs and bloggers for opportunities to learn best practices. Your inner monologue may sound a bit like this – How did they get their page to do that? or  What are they doing that works for them? You rack your brain for hours upon days trying to build something that you can call your own.

Then one day, it just clicked! Rather than ask – What works for ME, I was thinking about what works for others. Its all a matter of perception right? If you change the way you think about something – maybe approach it from a different lens – you would be surprised at where you end up. There are NO limits to what you can do – just limits that you place upon yourself.

In the words of Pharrell- singer, songwriter, rapper, record producer and fashion designer:
” Don’t let perfection be the veil to your opportunity.”

I am looking forward to all the amazing adventures to come! Thank you so much for stopping by and reading!
