Inniskillin is a winery located about twenty minutes outside of Niagara Falls heading towards Niagara on the lake in Ontario. My first trip to a vineyard – yay!
Inniskillin is known primarily for its ice wine even though the brand also produces many other varietals of table wine as well. Ice wine is a dessert wine produced from grapes that are frozen while still on the vine. Pressing these frozen grapes results in a very sweet wine. Such a treat!
It was such a beautiful day out and this Banana Republic dress suited this visit well. I had to represent in my red, white and blue on the 4th of July!
Wandering through the vineyard was extremely calming and peaceful. We didn’t get the chance to do the full blown wine tour, but that leaves us a reason to visit again! 🙂
