A Perfect Weekend Look + Labor Day Weekend Sale Roundup!

Is it just me or did the end of summer just catch you off guard too?

Today is a chilly fall-esque morning that is supposed to roll into a sunny hot afternoon. Talk about the type of day that makes your change your clothes multiple times! Thankfully, this is an outfit that works for that weather change. So going back to the tried and trues like this black tee dress and denim jacket is always a good idea.

I have had multiple black tee dresses throughout the years and its most likely due to how comfortable they are. This current one I have is made of the same material as all my jogger sets so its like walking around in pajamas in an acceptable post-covid way.

A few years ago, I also purchased this classic style denim jacket and it quickly became one of my favorite jacket layers in the closet. So pairing these two together for an off the clock look just felt right.

When styling the two, I like to throw on the denim jacket then roll the sleeves up about 3/4 of the way for a sporty look. Another way to style is to tie the denim jacket around your waist. Not only is it a great way to add some texture to a look, but its also practical for moments when you want to have it with you and not carry it. I rocked both looks here with a pair of slip-on sneakers but it can also look great with sandals too!!
