Well friends, we made it to June! The weeks have been flying by and work has been ramping up double time in my world. I finally got to see and spend time with my parents this past weekend for the first time in 18 months and I’m even on an official work trip (eek!), but thankfully I am fully vaccinated and feel much safer flying for the first time.
Since the weather is getting much nicer, I been looking for more options that are work friendly but can still be great to wear off the clock too. These wide leg cropped pants came up for sale so I decided to try them out! (currently on sale!) I sized up to a 2 based on some of the reviews that it runs small and they are a smidge too big. I would recommend staying true to size. A size 0 would have been a better fit on me but unfortunately I removed my tags.
I love the dark forest green color and the actual length of the pant. I often struggle with pants “looking” like they aren’t long enough, but these are great! The material feels high quality for the price and it would pack well into a suitcase for work travel, if needed. I styled the pants with a lightweight puff sleeve sweater.
A lightweight sweater in the Spring/Summer is a must have especially if you are traveling. The airport, planes and conference rooms tend to have an air conditioner running and it gets very chilly. Most of the time, I bring an extra layer with me, so this would work perfectly. Besides, I love the subtle details in the stitching too ( I am wearing the champagne option).
Here’s to more work travel and successful meetings ahead! #workinggirl
