This past weekend I attended my first ever book launch party! It makes me feel so cool just saying that. My friend Kenzie is the voice behind the blog – Cave Girl in the City – Adopting a Paleo Lifestyle in a Modern World. She has been working so hard to publish her first cookbook titled Paleo in 28. Her recipes and tips are centered around 4 weeks, 5 ingredients and 130 recipes to jump start a healthy lifestyle. She is the most inviting and warm person that you could ever meet and these recipes are sure to delight. Check out her book and her blog!
As I stated in previous posts – I tend to stick to the same styles as well as colors of clothing. This is the first time that I have worn colored pants and RED was such a fun choice. I’m totally hooked and now I want all different colors. I paired the pants with a black and white striped long sleeve shirt adorned with a leather pocket and finished with a trench coat, fitting for the celebration.
The accessories were little touches of black and gold to accent the rest of the outfit. The geometric black pumps went well with the Cole Haan Sunglasses (The Fab Find!!) and cute gold stud knot earrings. It was chic but not overstated for the night out. Everything else that I needed fit right into my little coach bag.
Guest Appearance: I would like to introduce you all to my puppy – Kima. She is a loving Rhodesian Ridgeback and joined me on the photo shoot this weekend. I know that she is technically not a puppy anymore… but she will always be my puppy. She is a collector of squeaky toys, treats and sticks and a complete bone aficionado.
Thank you so much for reading. Come back soon!

A great stripped top and those pants are awesome! The coat is a great addition and those heels are spectacular! Excellent outfit; great job. 😉
Thank you so much H.E.Lexus.
Omg I have maroon pants and a striped top and a trench coat and would never put them together until now! Thanks for the inspiration 💜
